Auvergne, a breed that wins to be known!

THE BRAKE OF AUVERGNE
We are Erik Martin and Laurie Bérubé, passionate about hunting dogs for several years, but more particularly the Braque of Auvergne. Very widespread and known in Quebec, we would like to have it discovered to the hunters as well as families.

France, its country of origin has only about 300 births annually which is very little! In Quebec, no birth in 2009 and 2010, for the moment in 2011 we count only 3 !!! Auvergne’s blue is a dog that made his appearance in France probably by the Knights of Malta. This is a well-fixed race for more than 2 centuries and mainly high by and for hunters. Its temperament
It’s a calm dog in the house when he had his expense of daily energy, he loves comfort and above all this is an excessively cuddly dog. It is a methodical dog so slower than the German Braque, renowned busty hunter the blue is a good dog for the partridge, but less suitable for the duck although some are suitable for pleasure!
