The water should be warm, but not too hot. Check the water temperature regularly to make sure it is comfortable for your dog. You can put a towel on the floor to protect surfaces and to prevent your dog from slipping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-step-no-5\">Step no. 5<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Start by wetting your dog&rsquo;s coat with lukewarm water. Make sure the coat is completely wet including the undercoat. Conditioner can help soften and nourish your dog&rsquo;s coat, but it doesn&rsquo;t have to be used with every bath. Gently wipe your dog&rsquo;s coat to remove excess water, then use a blow dryer to dry it completely. If you use a dryer, be sure to set it to a comfortable temperature for your dog and hold it an appropriate distance away. Check if the coat is dry, especially in the undercoat to avoid keeping moisture in the coat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-step-no-10\">Step no. 10<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Reward your dog after the bath is finished.
