\nMy new champion
\nThe arrival of a dog<\/a> in the family is always very exciting. However it requires some preparations. I come as an elevator to relive this experience. I would like to share with you this experience that has been a little different for me. The good breeder always seeks to improve the breed. To do this, he must always mate the best possible genitors. I went to France, south of Paris, acquire a beautiful Yorkshire male. I met a very large breeder: Marc Mansuet, farming of the Monderlay domain. He has been studying Yorkshire for 30 years. His dogs won several conformation competitions over the years. So for a year, I waited for this little wonder. Frenchy: french-lover of the Monderlay estate (15 weeks ago on the photo) will be one of my future breeders. Coming from a genealogy of champions, it will undoubtedly generate very beautiful topics.<\/p>\n

The airplane trip went very well. The little one slept all the time of the flight. On arrival, he slept with us in the bed. The next day he met the other breeding dogs. A real wonder, all have accepted it. These are balanced dogs<\/a> and happy. It was an exciting and enriching experience that allowed the most interesting exchanges between breeders!<\/p>\n

Your new puppy
\nFor you who have chosen a good breeder and wait for your little Yorkshire, it will be very different. Do not be afraid to do a few hours drive to acquire your little baby. Tell yourself that it’s worth it because you will have this little for more than ten years.<\/p>\n

You chose a male or a female who was cheerful, had sparkling eyes, not dull or sad and with a beautiful fur supplied, silky and shiny. The puppy is recorded, vaccinated, vermifuged and ideally, already sterilized. He does not wait until you !!!<\/p>\n

Before going to get the puppy, make sure your home is safe for him. Toxic plants are out of the reach of the puppy. Place housekeeping products, products killing ants or others in upper cabinets or tablets. Beware of the pending electric wires, the young puppy may be tempted to play with.<\/p>\n

Inside and out, do not let your puppy unattended, on the balcony, height terrace etc. They are small and can slide down or pass in the openings. Attention to pools, drowning cases are possible.<\/p>\n

Puppies just like babies want to take in their mouth, all they find. Check that the floors are free of pills (Tylenol, aspirin or other), plastic bags, ropes or ribbons, handbag handles, in which they pass their heads etc.<\/p>\n

Supplies to buy
\nBefore hosting your puppy at home, purchase the following supplies. So you will have more time to devote to your dog.<\/p>\n

Buy 2 bowls, one for food and one for the water. Those in Stainlessteel wash easily, what you need to do every day.
\nBuy a necklace. The latter must be nylon or light leather. Measure your puppy’s neck turn and add 2 inches. You must be able to insert 2 fingers between the collar and the dog’s neck. Bring it a medal with its identification.
\nBuy a leash. There are leather, nylon and retractable. I recommend a 6-foot leash, ideal for walking and dressing.
\nBuy a metal comb and brush with metal rods. Rest assured, it does not hurt the dog and it’s ideal for silk. You must brush your puppy every day.
\nBuy a baby toothbrush and tooth dough at the veterinarian.Encore once, the ideal is to brush your teeth every day.
\nToys, whatever they are, must always be used under surveillance. Some puppies destroy them and may swallow the lag or small pieces. A nylon bone is excellent to chew the time your puppy makes his teeth. A bullet is also an ideal toy.
\nA small basket or small bed with a cushion or a blanket will do the affair. Do not take it too small because it will grow well .Ni too big because it will feel lost.
\nA cage is recommended to introduce it to cleanliness. If you leave it alone a few hours, it will be safe. I will talk about it in the initiation to cleanliness.
\nI wish you the most beautiful experience with your new puppy. A house without a Yorkshire is not a house …… at the next: initiation to cleanliness.<\/p>\n
