Our dogs do not have a difficult life when it is mealtime. Most people just put their bowls down and wait for them to finish. It’s not necessarily a bad way, but it’s far from the best way to stimulate your dog. So if you want your dog to have more mental stimulation, changing their feeding routine is the perfect option. Clicker training is a great way to mentally train your dog. Clicking can be tricky, but using a clicker is an effective method of positive reinforcement training that encourages dogs through healthy association and food reward when the dog does the right thing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is an interesting result as well as one of the benefits of the clicker. This method of mental training will make your dog a creative and resourceful animal, able to decipher and solve all kinds of puzzles more easily than other dogs who have not undergone clicker training<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also pushes your dog to make decisions. You can try, there is nothing to lose! You can only win and the training is worth it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dogs need to get daily physical and mental activities. While playing catch can take care of the physical activity, it won’t get the desired dose of stimulation for a dog. Did you know that a walk of about 5 km is the equivalent of about 15 cognitive minutes?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
